Advisory Services
VIP Aircraft Interiors
Design & Engineering Advisory
From concept to certified build-out — independent advisory translating ownership requirements into technically accurate VIP aircraft interiors specifications that completion centres can price, build, and certify.
VIP Aircraft Interiors Specification
Your Vision, Technically Realised
VIP aircraft interiors that look compelling on paper often fail at certification — because they conflict with structural constraints, weight limits, or airworthiness regulations. VIP Aircraft Interiors bridges this gap, ensuring every design decision for your VIP aircraft interiors is both compelling and certifiable before it reaches the completion centre.
Our advisory covers the full design journey: from operational requirements definition and initial cabin layout through material specification, systems integration, and coordination with FAA or EASA design approval organisations. Review BBJ and ACJ cabin dimensions to ensure your design concept fits your platform. Interior design and engineering advisory also via Integral Aviation Solutions ↗ and IAS completion management ↗.

Why It Matters
The Case for Independent Advisory
Design That Certifies
Every design choice for VIP aircraft interiors must survive the certification process. Our advisors review layouts for structural feasibility, weight impact, and regulatory compliance before a single drawing is committed to.
Specification Writing
We translate ownership requirements into precise technical specifications that completion centres can price accurately and build to — reducing scope creep and change orders on VIP and VVIP aircraft interiors programmes.
From Concept to STC
From the first layout sketch to final STC approval — independent engineering advisory ensures your VVIP aircraft interiors are exactly what you specified, on time and on budget.

Concept to Oversight
A VVIP cabin moves through four disciplined stages. We hold the principal’s intent at each one — so the interior that flies is the interior that was approved.
01 · Concept
- Mission profile, zoning and mood direction
- Cabin layout the airframe can actually carry
- Feasibility-tested against platform constraints
02 · Specification
- Materials, finishes (CMF) and monuments fixed
- Tender-ready document completion centres price to
- The contract baseline — design freeze and change control
03 · Certification
- Structure, weight-and-balance and flammability resolved
- STC scope agreed with the FAA / EASA DOA
- Approved before metal is cut
04 · Oversight
- Resident supervision through build and finish
- Workmanship audits and material-compliance checks
- Luxury-element punch lists to acceptance
Materials & Finishes
Luxury, Weighed Precisely
Weight vs. Opulence
Stone veneers, solid hardwoods and precious-metal plating read beautifully — and carry a real weight penalty. We model every finish against the mission so the cabin stays within MTOW and protects fuel range.
Certifiable Materials
Every textile, veneer, leather and composite must meet 14 CFR 25.853 flammability and off-gassing standards. We vet the full material schedule before samples are approved — not after, at the centre.
Systems, Discreetly Integrated
4K cinema, Ka-band connectivity, secure communications, circadian lighting and cabin-management — specified to disappear into the joinery rather than clutter it.
Interiors FAQ
Questions We Are Asked Most
How long does a VVIP cabin completion take?
A narrowbody BBJ or ACJ interior typically runs 12 to 18 months from green aircraft; a widebody or Head of State programme 18 to 30 months. Locking the design and specification before induction is what protects that schedule.
How much does a custom finish add to weight?
Stone, solid hardwood and plating can add hundreds of kilograms. We model the weight penalty of every material against your mission so the cabin stays within MTOW and range targets — luxury is specified, then weighed.
Do interior materials need to be certified?
Yes. Every textile, veneer, leather and composite must meet 14 CFR 25.853 flammability and off-gassing requirements. We vet the full material schedule before samples are approved, avoiding costly substitutions mid-build.
Can you work with a completion centre we have already chosen?
Yes. We act as the owner’s independent representative regardless of centre — setting the specification, attending design reviews and running the punch list on your behalf.
Do you offer interiors advisory without acquisition?
Yes. Design, specification and completion oversight are available as a standalone engagement or as part of a full acquisition-to-delivery programme.
